Job Description

About the Role As an Industrial Equipment Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our operations team, ensuring peak performance and reliability of our production machinery. You will leverage your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and drive operational efficiency across the facility. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex issues within mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to maintain optimal equipment uptime. Execute preventative maintenance and repairs on conveyors, fixtures, and industrial control systems to ensure seamless production flow. Document all maintenance activities, including parts usage and work orders, to maintain accurate facility records. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and provide technical guidance on machine operations. Uphold rigorous safety standards, including proper machine handling and the use of personal protective equipment, to foster a secure work environment. Perform equipment modifications and adjustments to support production goals and improve overall machine reliability. Required Skills 4+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance or similar technical environment. Proven ability to interpret complex electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers, bore gauges, and dial indicators. Experience operating shop equipment including lathes, mills, and various power tools. Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve technical issues across departments. Basic computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills 6+ years of experience in high-speed manufacturing, bottling, or plastics processing environments. Advanced knowledge of PLC systems, VFDs, servo drives, and industrial communication protocols. Skilled in fabrication techniques, including MIG, TIG, or stick welding. Experience maintaining HVAC systems, chillers, and high-capacity air compressors. Expertise in troubleshooting 480VAC and 24VDC electrical systems. Familiarity with specific high-speed packaging equipment such as Krones or Sidel systems.
