Job Description
What if your next build powered a jobsite tomorrow Picture this. A contractor uncrates a saw you assembled, fires it up, and gets flawless cuts on day one. That happens because of specialists like you who take a work order, a parts kit, and turn them into dependable cutting and sawing equipment for concrete, tile, masonry, metal, and more. Your mission Confirm the kit. Receive parts and work instructions from your Lead or Supervisor, verify correctness and condition, and escalate any issues.
Create the core. Pre-assemble subassemblies and wire engines, motors, and switchboxes.
Build the system. Assemble engine components, water pumps, blade shafts and guards, front and rear axles, transmissions, cutting heads, and additional assemblies.
Perfect the fit. Use hand and pneumatic tools to sand, oil, measure, bolt, wire, align, tighten, and torque to spec while reading blueprints and following documented procedures.
Finish strong. Touch up finishes, apply serial number decals, and paint if required.
Prove performance. Test run each unit, complete inspection paperwork and checklists, and notify your Supervisor for final inspection.
Ship with confidence. Crate or box equipment, include literature and tools, and prepare for pick-up.
Own the space. Keep tools and the work area clean, request tool repairs, and always follow sound safety practices; report any safety or ergonomic concerns.
Champion quality. Ensure parts fit properly, machines run smoothly, and finishes meet standards; suggest improvements to procedures and specifications. Must-haves 1 to 2 years of mechanical assembly experience; automotive or shop exposure is a plus. Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions and read blueprints. Comfort standing for long periods and operating pneumatic tools that vibrate for short durations. Mechanical aptitude, confidence with hand tools, and capacity to learn specialized tasks such as basic electrical wiring. Detail-minded, accurate, and direction-following approach.
