ME Engineering Intern

You can look forward to these exciting tasks Design and fabricate fixtures, stands, racks, tables, etc. Perform Cycle Time Studies and evaluating to improve our manufacturing processes. Collect data, perform tests, and support manufacturing operations. Analyzing test data and preparing technical reports or presentations. Updating material flows and layouts when changes are made to our process. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical/electrical equipment. Troubleshooting our assembly process and components. Adherent to company policies and procedures. Update Controlled Documents through our Deviation and PECR process. Evaluating poke/yokes and determining feasibility. Participate in team meetings and technical reviews. This is what you bring to us Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Process Engineering Good Knowledge of MS Office tools. Understanding of core engineering principles and ability to apply them in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of hand tools, shop machinery, and measurement instruments (Tape measures, scales, calipers) Computer/AB/Siemens PLC skills a plus CAD/Inventor skills a plus Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic tool room machinery a plus Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Work requires strict adherence to safety procedures to avoid exposure to health risk.
