The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the production process by assisting with various tasks related to assembly and fabrication. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a warehouse environment while working with power tools and machinery. Duties Assist in assembling products using hand tools and power tools as required. Support the fabrication process by preparing materials and components for production. Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to move materials within the shop. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly. Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals efficiently. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs to supervisors. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Skills Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing facility is preferred. Proficient mechanical knowledge, with the ability to understand assembly processes. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and factory equipment is essential. Ability to fabricate components as needed, demonstrating attention to detail. Experience operating forklifts is a plus, along with relevant certifications if applicable. Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within a diverse team environment. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and improving processes within the shop.
