Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, testing, and troubleshooting complex assemblies that integrate mechanical components with electrical systems. You will work from blueprints and schematics to ensure every unit meets our rigorous quality and safety standards. Your hands-on skills and knowledge will contribute to delivering innovative solutions that meet our customer's expectations. Inert designs and manufactures custom industrial equipment that is used in a wide variety of industries, you will be part of a dynamic and growing company. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide assembly processes Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment with precision and attention to detail Build complex electromechanical sub-assemblies and finished systems using hand tools, torque wrenches, wire stripping and crimping equipment Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and digital gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances Conduct fabrication tasks including drilling, bending, shaping and fitting parts for final assembly Consult with supervisors or engineers to plan and review work activities or to resolve production problems Log hours for projects with company provided software Identify and resolve mechanical misalignments or electrical faults during the assembly process Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to safety policies and procedures Skills Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Experience with electrical wiring for manufacturing applications is a plus Mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment, power tools, hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments Familiarity with manufacturing processes including assembly and troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues Ability to interpret schematics and technical instructions clearly and follow safety protocols diligently Valid forklift certification preferred Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time and lift 50 lbs
Pay:
