Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building bench top assemblies that serve many different industries. Your expertise will help sustain high-quality production processes, improve reliability, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to manufacturing excellence.
Required Skills:
This position requires a person with mechanical aptitude and the manual dexterity to assemble precise mechanical components and integrate into higher level assemblies Attention to detail and meticulous assembly is critical to the quality of these products Build assemblies using part drawings, assembly prints, bill of materials, and work instructions Requires use of mechanical assembly hand tools i.e. power tools, wrenches, and drivers. Take precision measurements (Vernier calipers, micrometer, etc.) Assist in development of methods and procedures to improve manufacturing processes Perform time studies for operations as required Ability to organize and maintain clean and orderly production areas Assumes responsibility for own work Understands when to request guidance Good communication skills to convey information to associates and supervisor Ability to lift 50 lbs and work standing as needed Ability to speak, read, and write English Basic math skillsAdditional Skills:
Machining (preferred but not required) Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.) Solidworks or CAD capabilitiesEducation/Experience:
High school degree Minimum one year experiencePay:
