Job Description

Our client, a global designer and distributor, is currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Hagerstown, MD . This position is ideal for a skilled maintenance professional with hands-on experience repairing warehouse vehicles and equipment. In this role, candidates will be responsible for repairing forklifts, turrets, order pickers, reach trucks, electric pallet jacks, golf carts, and other warehouse vehicles.
The Day-to-Day:
Perform scheduled maintenance on warehouse equipment to support safe and efficient operations. Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn or broken parts as needed. Grind and fit parts to maintain or overhaul motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends, steering systems, brakes, wheels, lifts, hoists, and hydraulic systems. Test-drive repaired equipment before releasing it back to operators.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Certified Forklift Mechanic required. Associate degree preferred. 2 to 5 years of related maintenance or mechanic experience. Ability to read, learn, and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and drawings. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
Pay Rate:
$28.00 to $35.00 /hr
Schedule:
