Position Summary The Machine Technician will play a key role in supporting the build, setup, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of highly specialized industrial machinery and automated production systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, problem-solving, and working with advanced manufacturing technologies in a clean, team-oriented environment. Candidates with experience in machine building, industrial maintenance, precision manufacturing equipment, automation systems, or CNC-related environments are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Assist with assembly, setup, installation, and testing of precision machinery and automated equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues on industrial machinery Perform preventive maintenance and machine repair activities Support machine startup, commissioning, and debugging efforts Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly prints, and technical documentation Collaborate with engineering, controls, manufacturing, and service teams to improve machine performance Assist with machine upgrades, retrofits, and process improvements Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety procedures Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production and service process Travel occasionally to customer facilities for machine installation or support, if needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, machine building, industrial maintenance, or mechanical assembly Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience using hand tools, precision measurement tools, and shop equipment Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn advanced machinery and manufacturing technologies Preferred Qualifications Experience with CNC machinery, honing equipment, automation systems, or custom machinery Exposure to electrical troubleshooting, PLC systems, or controls integration Experience in automotive, aerospace, or precision manufacturing industries Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, servo systems, or motion control systems Technical training, associate degree, or skilled trades background preferred Growth Opportunities This organization strongly believes in promoting from within and investing in employee development.
