Assembly Mechanic

We are seeking an Assembly Mechanic to assist with the assembly and disassembly of mold and dies. You will assemble components according to blueprint specifications, using measurement tools and processes to perform quality checks. Assembly Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to fit, deburr, and assemble components from drawings and bill of materials
• Organize and inventory materials purchased for the job
• Ability to tear down die cast molds for changes
• Ability to plumb hydraulics, water lines, and cooling circuits
• Use measurement tools to perform quality checks
• Maintain a clean and safe workplaceAbility to use manual equipment a plus Ability to use manual mills, lathes and grinders a plus. Assembly Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Good knowledge and understanding of fit and function
• Troubleshooting
• Basic math and blueprint reading skills
• Basic computer skills
• Manual dexterity
• Basic hand tools
• Mold and Die assembly experience preferred
