Job Description

Responsibilities Conduct maintenance and service activities to assure Safety, Quality, & Productivity in the following areas: Electrical Hydraulic Troubleshooting Evaluation and reporting Preventive Maintenance Packaging Forklift/overhead crane operation Bolting torque and tension Equipment assembly Overhead lifting Qualifications The responsibilities of the Service Technician II requires the following qualifications: 2 years maintenance experience Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Knowledge of problem-solving tools (e.g. Pareto, root cause, Plan/Do/Check/Act, etc.) to identify and effective countermeasures implementation Mechanical skills: replacement, repair, and/or adjust mechanical parts to include, but not limited to solenoid valves, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, gaskets, seals, regulators, couplings, etc. as needed Capable of operating shop equipment: pallet jack, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, cranes, forklifts, etc. Occasionally necessary to lift 50 lbs safely. Effectively use cranes and jibs.
Electrical skills:
Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues utilizing multimeters and basic understanding of ladder logic, electrical schematics, perform electrical troubleshooting on AC and DC circuits/motors, input/output devices, servos, VFDs, wireless remote systems, and other components Capable of working under pressure while maintaining logical thought process Effective verbal and written communication skills Self-directed decision making based on sound prioritization of business needs Strong, team orientation, motivation, training and influencing skills Proven ability to effectively communicate / interact with Operators, supervisors, and equipment technical representatives Provides feedback for improvements to PMs and Job Plans.
Facilities equipment:
Forklift, overhead crane, pneumatic system operation and basic maintenance. Basic to moderate computer skills Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $23.00 - $30.00
