Job Description
CTG is hiring a Mechanical Technician III to support manufacturing engineering projects focused on equipment installation, capacity expansion, and mechanical system optimization. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong troubleshooting expertise and experience in fast-paced production environments.

Associate's degree in Mechanical Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field Key Responsibilities- Lead and support installation, startup, and debugging of manufacturing equipment
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, etc.)
- Align, test, and calibrate equipment post-installation
- Analyze and resolve mechanical/process issues using data and root cause methods
- Implement equipment and process improvements to increase reliability and efficiency
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and vendors to meet project timelines
- Maintain documentation and support training for operations teams
- Manage spare parts identification and inventory coordination Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with equipment installation in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gear systems, and conveyors
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications
- Startup/commissioning experience
- Experience working with vendors and suppliers
- CAD experience
- Mechanical certifications (Millwright, HVAC, Welding)
