Job Description

Shipping Technician - Evening Shift We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Technician to support a power-generation manufacturing environment in Durham. This role is responsible for preparing, packaging, documenting, and coordinating shipments of finished equipment, electrical assemblies, and replacement parts used in power-generation systems. 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Training will take place on the

6:00 AM - 2:30
PM Pay Rate:
$21.50 per hour

Durham, NC Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Benefits Weekly Pay Free Online Education A Dedicated Recruiter Job Requirements Prepare and package power-generation components including electrical assemblies, control panels, switchgear, and mechanical parts using proper crating, bracing, and protective materials Verify technical and quality documentation, including part numbers, serial numbers, engineering revisions, and quality release status prior to shipment Process inventory and production transactions in shipping and inventory systems to maintain accuracy and traceability Operate industrial material-handling equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and rigging tools Experience in industrial shipping, manufacturing, or heavy-equipment logistics Strong attention to detail, especially with serial numbers, revisions, and traceability Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work safely around large industrial equipment Forklift certification required; overhead crane or rigging experience preferred Basic computer skills for documentation and shipping software Apply Now by clicking the apply button. #nowhiring Forklift
