06/11/2026 The Wastewater Plant Mechanic performs responsible semi-skilled work in installing, repairing and maintaining plant equipment for the Wastewater Department. Check out the great benefits the City has to offer.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or GED One year of experience in the utilities field Valid NC driver's license or valid out-of-state driver's license with the ability to obtain a valid NC driver's license within sixty days of employment and good driving record Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. On-call rotation required. Paid bi-weekly. Closing Date Application and instructions are available here. This position will remain O pen Until Thursday, June 11th at 11:59pm .
