Industrial Pump Mechanic - Direct Hire 📍 Allendale, NJ (Future relocation to Morristown, NJ area in 2027) 🏗 Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades 💰 $55,000 - $70,000 + up to 5% annual bonus Position Overview Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a hands-on Industrial Pump Mechanic to join a growing assembly shop in Allendale, NJ. This role works closely with shop leadership and offers strong long-term growth, especially with an upcoming transition to a new, modern facility in the Morristown area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical experience who enjoys precision work, troubleshooting, and working with complex equipment. Core Responsibilities Assemble and disassemble industrial pumps and related components Build complete pump systems from the ground up Perform pump testing using in-house test stands Diagnose issues and repair returned or malfunctioning equipment Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and workmanship Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of mechanical experience (industrial, automotive, machining, or similar) Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes Proficient with hand tools and shop equipment Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings High attention to detail and quality-focused mindset Basic computer skills Preferred Experience Familiarity with shop equipment such as lathes, mills, and band saws Basic electrical knowledge, including experience with 3-phase motors Compensation & Growth Salary range: $55K-$70K (based on experience) Annual bonus potential up to 5% Opportunity for advancement as the company grows and transitions into a new facility This is a great opportunity for a mechanically driven professional looking to grow with a company that is investing in its future and expanding its operations.
