Do you enjoy turning drawings into finished, tested mechanical assemblies? Are you comfortable installing/removing Helicoils and solving fit-up issues? Do you take pride in clean, inspection-ready work that meets rigorous customer standards? Do you like partnering with engineering, production, and quality to deliver flawless outcomes? If so, you'll thrive in our Assembly & Test Department at the Daniel Road location. Your impact Build chambers and other mechanical final assemblies per specifications and drawings. Install and extract Helicoils as needed. Troubleshoot assembly challenges; help implement fixes. Execute final cleaning to customer-defined procedures. Inspect in-process work for compliance and report any observed damage. Verify completion of all assembly, finishing, and test steps before sign-off. Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams to achieve customer expectations. What you bring Education High School Graduate or GED Experience Hands-on mechanical experience with cars, trucks, small engines, and/or body work. 3-5 years in mechanical assembly is a plus. Ability to read and interpret customer engineering specifications and drawings. Fluent in written and spoken English. Capabilities Language skills Read technical procedures, professional journals, and applicable regulations; write reports, business correspondence, and procedures; present information and respond to stakeholder questions effectively. Mathematical skills Use probability and statistical inference; apply plane/solid geometry and basic trigonometry; work confidently with fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions. Reasoning ability Identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and make sound conclusions; interpret instructions delivered in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form; handle both abstract and concrete variables. Physical & environmental details Regular reaching, talking, and hearing; frequent standing, walking, sitting; routine use of hands/fingers to handle or feel. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Vision needs include close focus, depth perception, color recognition, and focus adjustment. Noise is generally moderate and can occasionally be loud. Must-have basics Basic mechanical skills.
