This role focuses on keeping production machinery operating efficiently while minimizing downtime through preventative maintenance and rapid problem-solving. This is a production equipment maintenance role and is not a facilities maintenance position. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues on manufacturing equipment. Respond to machine breakdowns and emergency equipment failures. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery. Inspect equipment and identify potential failures before they occur. Maintain and repair printing presses, laminators, slitters, pouch-making equipment, and converting machinery. Perform machine adjustments, alignments, calibrations, and changeovers. Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history. Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve machine performance and reliability. Support equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning projects. Follow all safety policies and maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Minimum 5 years of industrial mechanic or industrial machinery repair experience.

Strong troubleshooting skills involving:

Mechanical systems Electrical systems Pneumatic systems Hydraulic systems Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Experience with preventive maintenance programs. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with flexible packaging equipment. Experience with printing presses, laminators, slitters, converting equipment, or pouch-making machinery. Experience with flexographic printing equipment such as Uteco presses. Spanish language skills are a plus.

Pay:

$25.87 - $40.15 per hour
