May 1, 2026 : Job Summary This position involves the mechanical design of production machinery for new installations and upgrades to existing production lines. The role includes equipment installation, overseeing external contractors, debugging, providing production assistance, and documenting facility projects. The individual will also act as the project mechanical lead for upgrades to production equipment and software implementation using SolidWorks. Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical systems for production machinery. Install equipment and oversee work performed by external contractors. Debug and troubleshoot mechanical issues in production machinery. Provide production assistance and support. Document all aspects of facility projects accurately. Lead mechanical upgrades to production equipment and software implementation projects. Qualifications Strong organizational skills. Mechanical aptitude and ability to manage project work. Experience with SolidWorks software. Location This position is based at our Michigan plant.
