Type:
Long-Term Temporary with Potential for Temp-to-Hire Kelly Services is currently recruiting for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to join an innovative manufacturing team in Fairport, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong soldering skills, electrical and mechanical aptitude, and experience assembling and testing complex equipment in a production environment. What You'll Be Doing:
Assemble electro-mechanical systems and subassemblies from drawings and schematics Perform advanced soldering of electronic components and wiring Install electrical and mechanical components using hand tools and precision equipment Route cables, perform wiring, fastening, and mechanical integration Conduct system and sub-system testing and validation Troubleshoot assembly and system issues as needed Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met Document test results and communicate findings effectively Collaborate with engineering and production teams on prototypes and custom builds
Required Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related field OR equivalent hands-on experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, electronics manufacturing, or a similar technical environment Advanced soldering experience is required Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings Experience using hand tools, soldering stations, and measurement equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience:
Optical assemblies Motion control systems Prototype or low-volume manufacturing Laboratory, engineering, or high-tech manufacturing environments Why Apply? Weekly Pay!
