Job Description
The Opportunity Precision Process is hiring a Mechanical Assembler to join our team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be involved in the mechanical fabrication, repair, modification, removal, and installation of various electroplating equipment. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday from 7am - 3:30pm, reporting to the Assembly Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Read/interpret blueprints, sketches, part lists, and work orders to determine methods of fabrication/assembly Use hand routers, table saws, plastic welding guns, plumbing tools, hand tools, and drill presses Troubleshoot failures and perform repairs Ensure work environment is clean and safe Ensure quality of parts and assembly process Accurately complete documentation Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum high school graduate or equivalent Ability to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructions Ability to interpret blueprints (PID) for plumbing and pneumatics Understanding of Geometric Dimensions/Tolerances Ability to travel approximately 10-15% of time Basic math and computer skills Manual dexterity needed to perform some job functions Working Conditions Environment may be high temperatures depending on ambient outside temperature Steel/composite toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection required Could be exposed to background noise, odors, dust, heat, and cold Who We Are Precision Process is a manufacturer of a variety of electroplating/chemical processing equipment.
