Job Description
The best mechanical technicians are the people everyone relies on when equipment goes down. They can troubleshoot under pressure, solve problems quickly, and keep production moving without cutting corners on safety or quality. Regent Tek Industries is seeking a dependable Mechanical Technician to help maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the machinery and equipment that keeps our operation running efficiently. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in figuring things out, working safely, and keeping production running when equipment issues happen. Our manufactured product is thermoplastic pavement marking material produced through a semi-automated process that combines machinery, manual production work, and coordinated operations. Keeping equipment operating reliably is critical to maintaining production flow, minimizing downtime, and supporting the team on the floor. In addition to competitive pay based on experience, we offer: Full-time employment with consistent weekday scheduling start time 6am salary starting at $20.00 hourly Hands-on work with industrial equipment and production systems Overtime opportunities based on production demands A team-oriented environment where production and maintenance work closely together Opportunity to take on greater responsibility as you grow within the operation A practical, fast-moving operation where good work and reliability are valued What You'll Do Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and production equipment to support safe, efficient operations Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on industrial equipment and related systems Replace or repair components including conveyors, motors, belts, bearings, and other mechanical systems Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings to support repairs and installations Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and service documentation Coordinate with production and management teams to minimize downtime while assisting with equipment setup, testing, and operational support What You Bring Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining or repairing machinery and industrial equipment Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and industrial safety procedures Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused manufacturing environment Ability to work in industrial production environments and lift up to 50 pounds as needed Experience with industrial manufacturing equipment preferred WCoMBH4rr2
