Final Assembly Worker

Final Assembler - 1st, 2nd & 3rd

Shift Location:

Batavia, Ohio Position Overview The Final Assembler is responsible for assembling prefabricated components by following blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with hand tools in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial, mechanical, or construction-related work and be flexible to support other departments as needed to meet production and shipping demands. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to assemble prefabricated components. Use basic hand tools and measuring tools to complete assembly tasks. Accurately read and use a tape measure (test required). Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assembly processes. Perform assembly work that may require climbing ladders and accessing elevated areas . Assist other departments when needed to support production and shipping schedules . Maintain a safe and organized work environment . Qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, mechanical assembly, or a related field preferred. Skills & Requirements Proficient with basic hand tools . Basic carpentry or automotive mechanical experience is helpful. Basic understanding of blueprint reading . Familiarity with plumbing connections such as NPT and JIC fittings is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail . Ability to work independently and as part of a team . Good communication and collaboration skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs . Frequent standing, bending, stooping, and reaching . Ability to climb ladders as needed . Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment . Additional Requirements Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening . Must demonstrate the ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test required).

Pay:

$19.50 - $21.00 per hour
