Job Description
Aerospace Composite Technician Are you a detail-oriented technician with a passion for advanced materials? PrideStaff, a national workforce solutions firm, is proud to partner with an aerospace industry leader to find a Composite Technician to join their specialized manufacturing team. You will be responsible for crafting high-tech smart tooling mandrels, prototype composite parts, and specialized patch products used in cutting-edge industries. This is a role for a "maker"—someone who enjoys the chemistry of resins and fabrics combined with the mechanical challenge of large-scale assembly.
Compensation, Schedule, & Location Details Pay Rate:
$25.00- $35.00/hour (depending on experience) (1st Shift) Monday

2+ years in composites field Key Responsibilities Your day-to-day will be a blend of precision chemistry and heavy-duty mechanical assembly:Advanced Fabrication:
Prepare molds, mix resins, and lay up fabrics. You'll oversee the "cook" by monitoring oven set-ups and process parameters (temperature, time, and pressure).Precision Finishing:
Perform resin transfers, trimming, and final workmanship inspections to ensure every part meets rigid customer specs.Heavy Operations:
Utilize cranes and forklifts to rig and move large-scale tools and equipment safely.Technical Troubleshooting:
Read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics to troubleshoot equipment and improve manufacturing workflows.Field Support:
Occasionally travel to customer sites to assist with the installation and start-up of the high-end products you helped build. The Rewards & Environment Work with theBest:

Associates Degree with 1-2 years of experience in a related technical field.Material Expertise:
Prior experience with composites, polymers, or resins is highly desired.Mechanical Skill:
Must be able to read complex schematics (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic) and have experience with heavy product transportation (cranes/forklifts).Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable with electronic time logging and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).Physical Capability:
