They use hand and power tools to assemble parts, following blueprints and other instructions to ensure correct fit and functionality. Some responsibilities include reading schematics, aligning parts, fastening components, and performing quality control checks.
Key Responsibilities:
Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings to determine the correct sequence of assembly.
Assembling components:
Using hand and power tools to put parts together, following specifications.
Positioning and aligning parts:
Ensuring parts are correctly aligned and fitted together.
Fastening and joining components:
Using bolts, screws, rivets, or other methods to secure parts.
Quality control:
Inspecting assembled parts and products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintaining work area:
Keeping the workspace clean and organized, including tools and equipment.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving:
Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the assembly process.
Working with others:
Collaborating with other assemblers and team members to achieve production goals. #OKC123
