Industrial Manufacturing / Rotating Equipment Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Seal Assembly Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art mechanical seal assembly and service facility in Coraopolis, PA. This role is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and testing mechanical seals used in pumps and other rotating equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working with precision components in a manufacturing or repair environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical seals and related components according to engineering drawings and specifications Inspect seal components prior to assembly to ensure quality and proper fit Perform precision measurements using tools such as calipers and micrometers Assist with testing and inspection of completed seal assemblies Maintain proper cleanliness during assembly to protect seal faces and components Follow assembly procedures, technical instructions, and safety guidelines Identify and report defects or assembly issues to supervisors or quality personnel Assist with disassembly, repair, and refurbishment of returned mechanical seals when required Maintain an organized work area and properly handle seal components and tools Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or industrial equipment repair Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Ability to work with small precision components and maintain tight tolerances Good problem-solving and communication skills Basic computer skills for production documentation Preferred Experience Experience with mechanical seals, pumps, compressors, or rotating equipment Background in manufacturing, repair, or service shop environments Experience with industrial equipment assembly or maintenance Work Environment Modern state-of-the-art mechanical seal assembly and service facility Advanced tooling and precision testing equipment Clean and organized production workspace Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of parts or equipment Why Join Us Work in a modern, high-tech facility in Coraopolis, PA Opportunity to work with precision industrial equipment Competitive pay and stable industry Opportunities for skill development and career growth Additional Details How To Identify Potential Job Scams
