This role is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401k. Our Global Manufacturing client is looking to add a Electrical-Mechanical Technician to their team. The candidate will perform a wide range of technical duties supporting the assembly, installation, and service of industrial equipment. This role offers variety, hands-on work, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Assemble machines and perform electrical and mechanical installations Create and interpret electrical drawings and documentation Perform machine startup, debugging, testing, and commissioning to ensure successful project completion and on-time delivery Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems Collaborate with Sales, Service, Machine Build, and Engineering teams to address customer needs and resolve issues Travel to customer sites to install, evaluate, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment as required Complete project reports and documentation in a timely manner You will follow all company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and participate in required training. Additional duties may be assigned as business needs evolve. Qualifications & Education Requirements Technical degree in Electrical-Mechanical Engineering Technology (preferred)with 3 years of experience in machine assembly or electrical troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems Proficiency with measurement and diagnostic tools (micrometers, calipers, DMMs, oscilloscopes, etc.) Knowledge of basic electrical drafting and design Experience with AutoCAD; Allen-Bradley and Siemens programming software; and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) SAP and Salesforce experience is a plus Ability to follow ISO procedures related to quality and job performance Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
