This is not a general mechanical engineering role. This is not a nuclear research role. This is not a naval nuclear role. This is not a nuclear operations role. Candidates must have direct experience supporting Engineering Change Packages (ECPs), Design Modification Packages, or plant modifications for operating commercial nuclear power plants. Location Remote (U.S.) Duration 12+ Month Contract Schedule Monday-Friday Must be available for daily 8:45 AM Eastern Time engineering meetings. Required Experience Candidates must have experience in several of the following: Commercial Nuclear Power Plant Engineering Engineering Change Packages (ECPs) Design Modification Packages Plant Modifications Mechanical System Modifications Engineering Change Control Nuclear Utility Engineering Programs Operating Nuclear Plant Support Nuclear Design Engineering Appendix B Quality Assurance Programs NQA-1 Programs Corrective Action Programs Outage Support Engineering Evaluations Design Calculations Mechanical Equipment Modifications Typical Systems Experience with one or more of the following: Piping Systems Pumps Valves MOVs AOVs HVAC Systems Heat Exchangers Tanks Mechanical Equipment Plant Support Systems Preferred Backgrounds Strong preference for candidates from: Sargent & Lundy Enercon Constellation Energy Duke Energy Entergy TVA Southern Nuclear Dominion Energy Energy Northwest United Engineers & Constructors Zachry Nuclear Framatome Holtec Westinghouse Nuclear Services Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience Experience supporting operating commercial nuclear power plants Experience developing or supporting Engineering Change Packages and Design Modification Packages Knowledge of Nuclear QA requirements and engineering change control processes
