This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of machinery, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm equipment. Your mechanical knowledge and welding skills will be essential in ensuring our equipment operates safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform repairs on hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and other heavy equipment components. Conduct welding and fabrication tasks to repair or modify machinery parts using various welding techniques. Maintain and service industrial equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and trailer-trucks. Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, disassemble, repair, or replace mechanical parts with precision. Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and comply with industry regulations; document all work performed thoroughly. Skills Proven mechanic experience. Strong welding skills including mig, tig and stick welding. Proficiency in Repairs on hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and other heavy equipment components. Conduct welding and fabrication tasks equipment, and maintenance tools for precise repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions; safety-conscious mindset.
