An individual who can work independently or with a team and can communicate effectively. Someone who is excited to learn and willing to share their knowledge with our team. Bring new ideas to the table - work to find solutions together. The ideal candidate is safety-oriented and detail-oriented and is interested in becoming a part of a growing and diverse team of professionals. Additional skill sets include having Industrial electrical working knowledge, to advanced 220/480V experience. Job Skills & Qualifications Inspect, maintain and repair electrical, mechanic, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and machinery to be in proper working order. Analyze, problem solve and think strategically to solve equipment issues and find the root cause by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Disassemble and re-assemble machinery and/or equipment, using power and hand tools. Controlling downtime with preventive maintenance and by communicating with staff. Implementing contingency strategies, based on data and measurable information. Completing preventive maintenance requirements on pumps, motors, pneumatic tools, electrical systems, and production machines; by following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions Work with Operations on daily operations to continuously improve teams.
Position Requirements:
Two years of Vocational school training in Mechanical, Electrical, or any relevant Engineering discipline. Or a minimum of 3 years of career experience. Willingness to work overtime as necessary and respond to rotating call-ins during off-shift periods.
Physical Demands:
Use hands and fingers fully; reach for, manipulate and feel objects; stoop; kneel; crouch, crawl, and climb maintaining body balance on ladders, scaffolding, or high structures and see and hear well. Lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds. Stoop, lay, bend or squat for long periods of time.
