Mechanic /Far East

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Mechanic to support the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment used in transformer repair and related operations. This role is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on repair experience, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in an industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance — Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Troubleshooting & Diagnostics — Identify mechanical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions Repairs — Repair or replace defective parts, components, and assemblies Heavy Machinery Operation — Safely operate forklifts, hoists, and other shop equipment as needed Safety Compliance — Follow OSHA, company, and site-specific safety procedures at all times Documentation — Maintain accurate service logs, repair notes, and parts usage records Team Collaboration — Work closely with technicians, supervisors, and project leads to support daily operations Qualifications Mechanical Experience — 2+ years of experience as a Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, or similar role Technical Skills — Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and repair methods Heavy Equipment Operation — Experience with forklifts, hoists, or industrial machinery (certification preferred) Blueprint/Manual Reading — Ability to interpret diagrams, schematics, and service manuals Physical Requirements — Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in industrial shop conditions Work Ethic — Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team Preferred Experience Industrial Maintenance Transformer or Electrical Equipment Repair Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems Welding or Fabrication (not required but a plus) Text Nancy at 915-305-7508 Send your resume to nmelendez@snelling.com BBE1080
