Mechanic North Texas Health Care Laundry is a not-for profit cooperative Laundry serving Dallas metroplex hospitals and clinics for Baylor Scott & White, Texas Health Resources/Presbyterian, Methodist Health System, and Childrens Medical facilities, plus associated clinics. Our mechanics repair, perform preventative maintenance and monitor industrial laundry equipment such as tunnels, washers, conveyors, dryers, ironers, finishers, folders, etc. We seek people who are mechanically and electrically inclined and/or have at least 3 years of industrial mechanical experience and/or equivalent training in industrial maintenance. A mechanic should be able to push and pull carts that may weigh up to 400 pounds, lift and/or carry items weighing up to 40 pounds, climb ladders, and should not be afraid of working at heights up to 30 feet on lift equipment. Mechanics should be very safety oriented.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of industrial mechanical experience is preferred, able to pass a physical exam and drug screen and be able to work days, nights, weekends and/or holidays. Schedules are steady but may need to change from time to time. Flexibility is very important.
