In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining elevator systems within a manufacturing facility environment. Your expertise will ensure the safe, reliable operation of elevators and related machinery, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of our operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced industrial setting while providing exceptional customer service and technical support. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair elevator systems, including hydraulic, traction, and machine-room-less models, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments and schematics to identify potential issues before they escalate Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and generate reports for management review Diagnose electrical problems involving low voltage, high voltage, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), relays, contactors, and control panels Perform welding (including welding), hydraulic repairs, and mechanical adjustments to elevator components such as cables, pulleys, brakes, and doors Use field service tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to analyze electrical circuits and system performance Collaborate with manufacturing teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize downtime during production hours Experience Proven industrial mechanic experience within manufacturing facilities or similar industrial environments Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision measurement instruments Hands-on experience with electrical systems involving low voltage and high voltage components; familiarity with schematics is essential Skilled in troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrician tasks in a field service context Background in HVAC/R systems or HVAC experience is a plus for maintaining climate control units associated with elevator machinery Experience working with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and documentation Strong customer service orientation with excellent analysis skills to diagnose issues efficiently Military background or training in industrial maintenance adds valuable discipline and technical expertise Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to safety excellence, technical innovation, and continuous improvement.
