Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on various manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic systems, electrical components, and mechanical parts. Troubleshoot machinery issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes swiftly. Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure equipment functions within specified tolerances. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust automated systems for optimal performance. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Conduct welding operations, including welding techniques, as needed for repairs or modifications. Assist with field service tasks and support technical sales teams by providing technical expertise on machinery capabilities and maintenance needs. Qualifications Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience, including working with low voltage and high voltage systems. Familiarity with schematics, control systems, and troubleshooting electrical circuits using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Experience working with hydraulic systems, HVAC/R systems, and industrial maintenance procedures. Ability to operate a scissor lift safely; relevant certifications preferred. Knowledge of industrial electrician practices, including working with high voltage components. Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing equipment failures quickly and accurately. Effective customer service skills when collaborating with internal teams or external field service providers. Military background or experience in related fields is considered an asset for discipline and technical expertise. Proficiency in English for clear communication across teams and documentation.
