Job Description

Join Our Team GOEX is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineer to lead maintenance and engineering initiatives that improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement throughout our manufacturing facility. This role combines mechanical engineering, maintenance leadership, project management, and process improvement. You'll work closely with production and plant leadership to troubleshoot equipment, implement engineering solutions, and develop a strong maintenance team. What You'll Do Lead and develop the maintenance team by assigning work, coaching employees, and ensuring safe, timely completion of maintenance activities. Improve equipment reliability through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation issues. Support PLCs, drives, motors, sensors, HMIs, and automated manufacturing equipment. Lead equipment upgrades, machine modifications, capital projects, and process improvements. Partner with production to reduce downtime and improve manufacturing efficiency. Maintain maintenance documentation, engineering drawings, spare parts inventories, and CMMS records. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety standards. Work cross-functionally with production, quality, engineering, and operations to achieve plant performance goals. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent combination of technical training and progressive industrial maintenance experience. 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial maintenance, equipment reliability, or a related manufacturing environment. Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems. Experience working with PLCs, HMIs, drives, and automated manufacturing equipment. Demonstrated leadership experience supervising, coaching, or mentoring maintenance personnel. Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Experience with CMMS systems. Experience leading capital projects and equipment installations. Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and manufacturing best practices.
