April 20th Role Overview Aerotek is currently hiring Mechanical Installers to support the installation of robotic equipment inside a large distribution center. This is a hands-on, physical role requiring tool use, material handling, and continuous movement in an industrial environment. Ideal candidates are dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable assisting across multiple tasks. Key Responsibilities Install robotic arms, stations, guarding, and safety fencing Support mechanical assembly by following diagrams and instructions Use pallet jacks to move, stage, and organize materials Run wiring and assist with equipment commissioning Perform general labor tasks including cleaning, sweeping, and material handling Carry and position tools, parts, and equipment throughout the facility Follow all safety procedures and direction from supervisors Work collaboratively with installation and production teams Required Skills & Qualifications Experience using hand tools and power tools BG in industrial work or general labor Ability to lift 40-50 lbs consistently Comfortable standing and walking on concrete floors for full shifts Basic ability to read blueprints or assembly diagrams Reliable attendance and punctuality Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions Willingness to assist wherever needed on the job site Nice‑to‑Have Experience Robotics or automation installation Construction, warehouse, or distribution center work Loading, packaging, cleaning, or site support experience Strong Candidate Traits Excellent attendance history Works independently once trained Strong mechanical aptitude Clear communication skills Understanding of basic workplace safety practices Work Environment Large distribution center environment Loud, dusty, and fast‑paced Work performed mostly on mezzanine levels Combination of climate‑controlled and open‑air areas (can be warm) Physically demanding role requiring walking, lifting, and carrying Dress Code & PPE Jeans and T‑shirt Safety‑toe boots required PPE provided on site Apply now to secure a position on a growing mechanical installation team!
