Manufacturing Machinery Mechanic 14893 Persistence Drive, Woodbridge, VA 22191 From $28 an hour - Full-time From $28 an hour - Full-time Machinery Mechanic needed RJT has been a family run business for over 47 years and is continually growing. Large window manufacturing company is looking for a full-time machinery mechanic to perform routine maintenance on a range of various machines as well as Troubleshoot issues as they arise. This is an inside job. All Equipment is powered by Pneumatic or electrical supply. Some of the various machines range from CNC routers, Greller welders, glass cutting tables, large air compressors, butyl applying machines, and various other machines used for the window manufacturing process. Duties would include but not be limited to: Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls Communicate with equipment manufactures when issues arise Disassemble machinery and equipment when there is a problem Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components Perform tests to make sure that the machine is running smoothly Detect minor problems by performing basic diagnostic tests Test malfunctioning machinery to determine whether major repairs are needed Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications Clean and lubricate equipment or machinery Move machinery and equipment as needed Set up and maintain a PM system Knowing how to use a fork lift is a PLUS Typical work week would be Mon-Fri 7:00 - 3:30. Minimal OT required. This position is perfect for a candidate who prefers excellent work-life balance and typically works set hours every day.
