Job Description
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment, facility systems, and preventative maintenance programs. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED Minimum of 5 years of on-the-job experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment Experience repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and water system issues Experience using prints, schematics, or maintenance documentation when available Experience performing preventative maintenance on plant equipment and facility systems Experience using a computerized CMMS system Ability to follow work rules, safety procedures, and PPE requirements Preferred Skills Experience maintaining manufacturing plant equipment Experience supporting facility maintenance systems Experience completing maintenance work orders in a CMMS Experience maintaining equipment while supporting product quality and personnel safety Experience with multi-craft industrial maintenance tasks Job Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on plant equipment and facility systems Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems on plant equipment and facility systems Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and water system problems Use prints and schematics to support troubleshooting and repair work when available Perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks on plant equipment Perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks on facility systems Complete assigned maintenance work orders in a computerized CMMS system Follow work rules, safety procedures, and PPE requirements Support product quality through proper maintenance practices Maintain equipment and facility systems in accordance with safety requirements
