Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the production process by assisting with various tasks on the assembly line, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position is perfect for individuals who have a passion for fabrication and mechanical work, and who thrive in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Assist in the assembly of products, ensuring quality standards are met. Utilize hand tools and power tools to fabricate/assemble components as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Operate skid steer, tractor, and lull to move materials and finished products within the warehouse. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and improve processes. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively. Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques. Ability to operate skid steer, tractor, and lull safely; certification is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
