This role focuses heavily on floor care and general maintenance across common areas and resident apartments. You'll play a key role in ensuring our environment reflects the dignity and comfort our residents deserve—while building meaningful connections along the way. Key Responsibilities Perform floor care maintenance including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas and resident apartments Assist with basic maintenance tasks (repairs, painting, upkeep) Follow all safety procedures and infection control standards Identify and report maintenance concerns proactively Support overall community appearance and readiness Engage respectfully with residents and team members to enhance quality of life What We're Looking For Prior experience in floor care, housekeeping, or maintenance preferred Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is a plus Ability to operate floor equipment (buffers, extractors, etc.) Strong attention to detail and work ethic Reliable, team-oriented, and professional Ability to lift, bend, and be on your feet throughout the shift Our Core Values Serve with Heart Serve with Purpose Serve with Courage Have Fun While Serving What Our Team Says "It truly feels like a family at Charter."
