Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Job Summary Direct Staffing is seeking a dependable Maintenance Helper for a manufacturing facility in Fort Smith, AR. This position is ideal for someone with previous industrial maintenance experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment. You will assist with preventative maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently. Manufacturing maintenance experience is required for this position. Responsibilities Assist with preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Perform basic mechanical repairs and equipment adjustments. Help troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Assist with installation and repair of production equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Work with the maintenance team to keep production equipment operating efficiently. Qualifications Previous industrial maintenance experience is required. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to use hand and power tools. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the shift. Dependable with a strong work ethic and excellent attendance. Able to work safely in an industrial environment. Schedule Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Pay $15.00 per hour
Job Requirements:
Qualifications Previous industrial maintenance experience is required. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to use hand and power tools. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the shift. Dependable with a strong work ethic and excellent attendance.
