JOB GOAL
To assist the Facility Supervisor in maintaining a safe and clean school environment for students and staff.QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to be successful: Valid Arizona Driver's License Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Able and willing to work in a team atmosphere Ability to work independently when necessary Ability to use constructive techniques to resolve conflict Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to perform preventive maintenance according to published guidelines Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures Ability to work with staff, teachers and students at various educational levels Perform plumbing, electrical, installation of construction materials and other maintenance duties as assigned Proficient communicator with excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of district staff and with a diverse communitySkills:

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Work closely with and maintain open communication with the Facility Supervisor to provide safe and positive student and staff environment. Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment. Repairs fences, gates, walls, and walks, paints fences and outbuildings. Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools. Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures. Ability to drive white fleet vehicles.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
12-month, Hourly/Non-Exempt position under FLSA. Placement on Classified salary schedule by the Director of Human Resources dependent upon education and experience Benefits- All approved benefits for Classified Employees Must pass Department of Public Safety Fingerprint clearance check.
EVALUATION
Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
Proof of Mumps, Measles and Rubella, (MMR) vaccination. Valid government issued identification or current work visa with expiration date. IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
