Job Description
Maintenance and Repair Worker We are looking for a maintenance worker to perform tasks such as basic repairs and cleaning (interior and exterior) at 14 of our restaurant locations. In this position you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs, applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems, and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable and self-motivated with a sharp eye for detail is essential in this job, as the ideal candidate will have significant work experience and solid technical knowledge. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Performing cleaning activities
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, dry wall etc.
- Install appliances and equipment
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
- Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems
- Check functionality of safety systems
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals
- Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
- Report to a maintenance manager
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read technical manuals
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexible with schedule
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors
- Driver's license
