Maintenance Assistant

Summary The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting in the repairs and maintenance of the facilities and production equipment. Required Qualifications 2 years experience in Manufacturing / Facilities Maintenance repair and/or metal cutting industry - preferably aerospace Experience with troubleshooting CNC and Manual machines (milling, lathes) and 5 axis, preferred Experience in handling and storage of hazardous material Organized and comfortable working with maintenance management systems Experience with preventative maintenance techniques and scheduling Communication skills required consists of the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, procedure instructions, equipment manuals, complex blueprints/electrical schematics, and work order documents. Able to work under pressure in fast-paced environment to meet schedules of Production Manager. Must be "solution" oriented and able to systematically resolve problems Customer and people skills experience required Must have good attendance history and reliable Functional knowledge of ERP systems required, preferably ABAS. Experience with AS9100 and aerospace industry requirements Experience with

Bilingual Spanish (desirable) Experience with 5S and continuous improvement practices Must be internally certified to operate the forklift Ability to work in a team environment Essential Duties and Responsibilities Know and execute PAS Management system procedures Familiar with company's products, processes, and machinery Facility maintenance and troubleshooting including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, airlines, utilities, HVAC, roof, air compressor, & fire suppression Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyor systems Orders regular maintenance supplies Manages all oils and coolant for all equipment, including managing coolant concentration levels Supports and maintains EHS Attends maintenance seminars, trade shows, and trainings, as necessary. Manage and coordinate the scrap metal pickups Perform other duties as assigned Export Compliance To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. §1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
