Qualifications The Vacancy:
There is one full-time, 12 month permanent position in the Maintenance Department, District Office. The eligibility list established from this recruitment will also be used to fill future vacancies, substitute, and temporary positions for up to six months.
Required Qualifications:
Four years of experience performing skilled work in the plumbing trade, including completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent evidence of skilled status. A copy of a valid Driver's License and a current DMV print-out (within 30 days) of applicant's driving record must accompany application. Must have the ability to qualify and maintain insurability by the District's liability insurance carrier's standard.

Covina-Valley Unified School District offers 3 different employer-paid HMO medical plans (Kaiser HMO, Blue Shield of California Access HMO, and Trio HMO) to choose from as well as full dental, vision, and life insurance plans at no cost to all benefit-eligible employees. Extended coverage for your qualified dependents is also available at a low price. Employees who work 31+ hours/weekly also have the option to choose a low-cost PPO plan.
