Non-Exempt Salary Range:
$23.28 - $30.26 per hour
Classification:

The Town of Discovery Bay is currently seeking qualified individuals to apply for the position of General Maintenance & Custodial Worker .
GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Applicants must be able to work both indoors in an office setting and outdoors in all types of weather conditions, including exposure to loud noise levels, extreme temperatures, inclement weather, hazardous traffic conditions, rough terrain, and various physical and chemical hazards. Must regularly lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds or more and have the ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods. Must be able to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and respond to emergency situations as needed. This is a Safety Sensitive position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade. Some paid maintenance, custodial, or janitorial experience is desirable. Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Must pass a background check, physical examination, drug screening, and TB test.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The position is FLSA Non-Exempt. Placement within the salary range will be based on qualifications and experience. The Town offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, EAP, and deferred compensation.
