In this energetic position, you will be responsible for executing a variety of landscaping tasks that enhance the aesthetic appeal and health of landscapes. Your expertise will ensure that lawns and gardens features are well-kept, safe, and thriving. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize diverse tools and machinery, and contribute to the transformation of outdoor environments into vibrant, inviting spaces. Responsibilities Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to maintain healthy turf. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, trimming and shrubs, and installing new plantings. Operate hand tools and power equipment including trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, and lawn mowers with precision and safety. Use construction equipment like excavators for site preparation or landscape installation projects. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and performing routine repairs to ensure optimal watering. Execute hardscape projects involving the installation or repair of pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other stone or concrete features. Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify issues requiring maintenance or repair and address them promptly. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling equipment and performing physical tasks in various weather conditions. Experience Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and small machinery is highly advantageous. Familiarity with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest management enhances your effectiveness in this role.
