In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and functionality of our beachfront resort, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, service-driven, and skilled in a variety of maintenance disciplines, with a strong focus on hospitality standards, guest satisfaction, and preventive maintenance. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house systems to ensure optimal operation and presentation. Troubleshoot and repair building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and mechanical equipment . Respond promptly to guest room and public area maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution while delivering exceptional guest service. Maintain resort facilities including pool areas, spa, fitness center, and beachfront-facing amenities. Complete work orders using the property's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and ensure accurate documentation. Assist with painting, drywall repair, carpentry, tile work, and general upkeep to maintain brand standards. Support preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and minimize downtime. Coordinate and assist with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and projects. Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and Marriott/Autograph Collection brand requirements . Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. Skills & Qualifications Strong working knowledge of hotel or resort maintenance operations preferred. Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance . Ability to troubleshoot issues using technical knowledge and basic diagnostic tools. Familiarity with CMMS systems for tracking maintenance activities. Basic skills in painting, carpentry, and finishing work. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining luxury property standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
