Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning duties across various areas including offices, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces using commercial cleaning tools and supplies. Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restocking supplies to ensure cleanliness standards are met consistently. Assist with general custodial responsibilities including floor care activities like buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a professional appearance. Support facilities maintenance by identifying repair needs, reporting issues promptly, and assisting with light maintenance tasks such as painting or minor repairs. Maintain safety standards by ensuring walkways are clear of debris and hazards are addressed immediately. Help with industrial cleaning projects when required, utilizing specialized equipment for large-scale cleaning tasks. Support the team during special events or busy periods by providing additional cleaning or setup assistance. Qualifications Prior experience in custodial work, janitorial services, or facilities maintenance is highly preferred. Knowledge of commercial or residential cleaning techniques and equipment operation. Experience with floor care procedures including buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork. knowledge of painting or repairs is a plus but not required.
