Job Description

ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR
Long established private real estate development and investment firm has immediate opening for an Assistant Maintenance Coordinator. The company, which is located in the Historic Core of downtown Los Angeles, has a diversified portfolio consisting of retail stores, restaurants, apartments and theater buildings. The ideal candidate will be diligent in the following:
  • Maintenance planning Collaborate with management to create and carry out the organization's daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance plan. Plan, organize and oversee maintenance projects.
  • Scheduling Schedule repairs, maintenance, and other projects with tenants, maintenance employees, vendors, contractors, and service providers by creating work orders and following up to be sure work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Inventory Oversee inventory management and ensure tools and materials are available for tasks. Present Inventory Reports monthly to Ownership.
  • Ordering Create an ordering system so that supplies, tools and materials needed are always in stock.
  • Hiring Assist with interviewing and hiring maintenance technicians and janitorial staff
  • Safety Monitor safety and health compliance, and replenish proper safety equipment as needed
  • Equipment inspections Support technicians with equipment inspections and maintain maintenance logs
  • Customer service Provide customer service to tenants, employees and outside contractors at the facility Ideal candidate must have good communication skills, time management and must be proactive and problem solve.
Working knowledge of Yardi is a plus. Spanish speaking a plus. Salary depends on experience.

$70,304.00 per year
