Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) Job Description and Duties Under the general direction of the administrative sergeant, the Maintenance Worker performs all duties with regards to janitorial duties and general grounds maintenance work. Specific duties included, but are not limited to: cleaning and waxing floors, vacuums rugs and carpets; cleans, dust and polishes cabinets; empties and cleans waste receptacles; cleans hallways, restrooms, office and lobby; assists in moving and arranging furniture and equipment, minor cabinetry repairs; refills lavatory supply dispensers; replaces ornamental plantings in and around building and parking areas; maintains parking areas; cleans sidewalks. Check motor vehicle maintenance schedule records and delivers motor vehicles to service stations and garage for repair. Inventory of vehicles parts and supplies; cleans interior and washes motor vehicles. You will find additional information about the job in the . Working Conditions Typical office building setting; indoors in a temperature controlled building/outdoors for extended period of time, including lifting,standing and walking.
