Maintenance Assistant (Full-Time)
Cypress Ridge Care Center Pay:
$20-$24/hour (DOE) Position Summary Cypress Ridge Care Center is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep and safety of our facility. This role is essential in ensuring a comfortable, clean, and well-maintained environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Assist with routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building upkeep) Perform preventive maintenance tasks and inspections Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders Maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards Assist with moving equipment, setting up rooms, and other facility needs Keep maintenance logs and report issues as needed Qualifications Previous maintenance experience preferred, ideally in healthcare or a similar setting Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work Ability to use hand and power tools safely Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods Benefits & Perks Competitive pay: $20-$24/hour (DOE) Full-time position Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) and sick leave 401(k) retirement plan Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment About Us Cypress Ridge Care Center is committed to providing high-quality care in a safe and welcoming environment.
